I have just returned from seeing my Allergy therapist (Applied Kinesiology), who I have been working with for the past ten months to help with IBS symptoms and M. E. Complementary Therapist, Veronica Hayes, runs an independent practice from her beautiful home, Leaf House, nestled in the countryside just 10 minutes drive from Bury St Edmunds. Karen Cannard tells us about her recent visit.

"As I pulled into the drive of Leaf House, I couldn't have felt any more stressed. Not only was I late for the appointment, but I also knew a challenging week work-wise was ahead.

However, a lovely warm welcome was waiting for me from Veronica, who led me into her professional therapy room. After an initial consultation we agreed that an Indian Head Massage would be just the tonic to help reduce the stress levels and to achieve the clarity of thought that I needed for the busy week.

The Indian Head Massage is a full 45 minute holistic pampering session, which began with a relaxing shoulder and neck massage, incorporating the upper back and tops of arms. Veronica was very careful to make sure that the pressure was not too heavy or too light, before moving on to the head and scalp. It was pure relaxation and I could feel all the stresses drain away.

Next was a Facial Massage, with focus on pressure point stimulation and techniques to relieve and drain tension. At the end of the session, I felt that my upper body had been given the pampering it had long needed, with the opportunity to relax, be still and enjoy the beautiful surroundings of the house.

I came away with lots of additional advice from Veronica about other issues I had discussed with her. Therapy prices are very reasonable, and I am looking forward to a retun visit for Reflexology."
