Reiki 2 (Okuden)
This is a much more in-depth course that builds upon the foundation of energy work and self healing 
work you will have carried out between Reiki 1 and Reiki 2. On this course, you will learn the Reiki symbols and you will learn their use in both treatments and meditations. Together, we will explore various techniques of strengthening your Reiki connection and treatments. We also explore more advanced techniqes of discerning energy fields when carrying out treatments. We will look at ways of developing your intuition and we look at Distance Healing and how to work with Intent. This is a Practitioner level course which prepares you to practice Reiki professionally if you wish. But once again, this is a lovely day where you can practise all your new skills and techniques and this ensures that you will be able to go away from the course feeling confident to then put these skills into practice.
Again, my Reiki Second Degree (Okuden) course gives you the best of both worlds by being divided into two components - a a pre-course work pack and an intensive, practical 'live' day course.
The work pack will take you approximately 6 hours to read through. It involves learning three Japanese symbols which allow you to focus Reiki energy for specific intentions or reasons, including the physical, mental and emotional healing as well as distant healing. The course manual and accompanying audio CD are sent out in advance (on payment of a £70 deposit) and this allows you the time to learn the symbols at your leisure and in the comfort of your own home. You will also receive course notes to guide you through the pre-course work. And if you have any questions as you work your way through the notes, you are always very welcome to contact me and have a chat.
The day course is mostly practical once again. You will receive your Second Degree Reiju empowerments and you will work through various practical energy exercises which allow you to experience the energies represented by the first two symbols. We also practise sending Distant Healing using the third of the Reiki Second Degree symbols. After lunch you will be practising some techniques to help you to intensify the treatments you give to others, and you will experience ways of working with more intent and intuition. Whilst we have a busy day, it is also a wonderfully relaxing day as you will not only be giving Reiki but also receiving Reiki. At the end of the day course, you will receive your Certificate, invitations to join my free, monthly Reiki Shares at Leaf House, plus ongoing support from me via email or telephone. (You will also receive an invitation to join the Reiki Evolution Internet Discussion Group if you did not complete Reiki 1 with me.)
Course prerequisites: Reiki 1. (If you have studied Reiki 1 with another teacher, then please do not worry. You can still take Reiki 2 (Okuden) with me as you can receive the Reiki 1 (Shoden) conversion pack for a fee of £10, which includes a 170 page Manual and 2 x Audio CDs. This will bring you in line with our teachings.)
Investment: £170 (£70 deposit - NB: £80 if you need to work through Reiki 1 as mentioned above -with the balance payable on the day). You will then be able to secure your place by sending a cheque for your deposit (either £70 or £80, depending on the information given above). Arrive at 9.30am and finish no later than 5.30pm with about 45 minutes for lunch.
Please note that the deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable and only apply to the course date for which the original booking is made. If you need to transfer course, a £20 rebooking fee is applicable.
